Water levels, and why we move your trip

The Ganga rises through the day with snowmelt and after rain in the hills, and a rapid that was Grade III at nine can be Grade IV by two. We measure at the launch beach every morning. If the level is above what your trip is rated for, we move you to a shorter stretch or another day, and we say so before you drive out — that is the whole point of booking with the people on the beach.
